Of the 231 citizens living in Branch in 2019, 131 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 88 of those people were female and 43 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
