Lafayette, LA – Trash and recycling collection will not be affected by the Fourth of July holiday. Republic Services will run its regular routes next Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
The Lafayette Transit System; however, will observe Independence Day. All bus services — Daytime, Night Owl, and Paratransit will be closed. Service resumes the following day on Wednesday, July 5.
