The fitness community court at Lafayette Middle School is officially open!
Despite the weather not fully cooperating, a successful ribbon-cutting ceremony happened today. Lafayette Consolidated Government in partnership with Lafayette Parish School System and Lafayette Middle School is bringing a new outdoor fitness area to the community.
This new fitness court is open to the public as follows:
Weekdays Monday – Friday: Sunrise until 7:30 am and 4:30 pm until Sunset.
Weekends: Sunrise to Sunset
Operating hours are posted on the exterior gate.
This was made possible by the hard work of many dedicated individuals, years of fundraising, and cherished partnerships.
