This month, our teacher feature is Brianna Blakney from Lafayette Middle School.
“Lafayette Parish School System has empowered me as an educator. In my experiences as a 6th-grade classroom teacher and now an ELA Master Teacher, I have received support from fellow teachers, administration, and district personnel. I love that I get to provide that kind of support to the teachers that I work with as their instructional coach and leader. I want to encourage and inspire them to grow as educational leaders for the students who are in their classrooms“
