The UL Lafayette Alumni Association invites you, your friends and family to the Alumni Center to celebrate the Lafayette Sonic Christmas Parade! The annual parade marks the official arrival of Santa in Lafayette and there will be cookies and hot chocolate to keep you warm as the parade passes by and bleachers for viewing!
The University will also toast to Santa with hot chocolate as he closes the parade. If you can’t make it to the Alumni Center, you can watch on Facebook the day of the parade!
The parade begins at 1:00 PM in Downtown Lafayette. Floats, marching bands, dance clubs and Santa will then travel down Jefferson Street toward Johnston on its way toward the Alumni Center. The open house is complimentary and open to the Lafayette community.
