Rep. Clay Higgins, U.S. Congressman representing Louisiana’s 3rd district, posted a series of tweets in mid-September 2025 detailing his recent activities and positions on law enforcement and environmental policy.

On September 16, Higgins wrote, “Honored to put my boots on the ground with my Military Police Brothers in DC for a couple of hours…” On September 17, he added, “We’re empowering law enforcement in our nation’s capital…” The following day, September 18, he stated his opposition to certain federal regulations: “I stand with American small businesses against EPA weaponization.”

Clay Higgins has served in the U.S. Congress since 2017 after succeeding Charles Boustany. He previously held office in the Louisiana House of Representatives and was born in New Orleans in 1961. Higgins currently resides in Lafayette.
