Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Aveda Institute-Lafayette

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Aveda Institute-Lafayette, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $18,000 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 41 students received grants or scholarships totaling $184,729 and 53 students took out student loans totaling more than $541,949.

Including all undergraduates (160), 149 students used grants or scholarships totaling $775,740, and 145 students took out $1.1 million in federal student loans.
