Of the 58,200 people living in Acadia Parish, Louisiana in 2021, 50.5% (29,409) were women and 49.5% (28,791) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by Lafayette Reporter.

Data showed the average age for women in Acadia Parish in 2021 was 39 years, lower than the national average of 40 for women.

According to census data, women aged 18 and over outnumbered men in the same age group by 721. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 3,980 men and 4,929 women.
