Acadia Parish’s six coaches earned an average salary of $41,018 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the third lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Louisiana post-secondary schools during 2022.

Acadia Parish is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $35,929 on average in Acadia Parish, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $46,106.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
