Ashley Lightcap, former Lafayette High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Mississippi Choctaws Coach Brooke O’Hair (2024) | Mississippi Choctaws

Former Lafayette High School player and current Mississippi Choctaws outfielder, Ashley Lightcap, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the seventh seeded West Alabama Tigers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
