Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) and the Lafayette Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (OHSEP) have announced the continuation of water distribution for residents in need across the Parish. Distribution will take place at several locations.

The Youngsville Sports Complex, located at 801 Savoy Rd, Youngsville, LA 70592, will operate from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Scott City Hall, situated at 125 Lions Club Road, Scott, LA 70583, has extended its operating hours from the usual 7:30 am to now close at 5:00 pm. Meanwhile, Carencro Fire Station No. 3 at 911 W. Gloria Switch Rd., Carencro, LA 70520 will open at noon and continue while supplies last. This location will only distribute bottled water with no onsite potable water tanker available.

Residents are reminded that there is a limit of one bottled water case per family. They should bring containers to fill with potable water as a spigot will be available for easy access. Proof of residency in Lafayette Parish is required to ensure resources are available for all.

For further updates on water distribution site operations, residents are encouraged to follow the LCG Facebook page.
