Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) and the Lafayette Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (OHSEP) have announced continued water distribution for residents of Lafayette Parish. This effort aims to provide essential resources to those in need.

Water distribution will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025, at designated locations. Residents can collect bottled water and access potable water tankers at the Youngsville Sports Complex from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Scott City Hall from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. At Scott City Hall, a 6,000-gallon tanker truck will be available alongside existing bottled water supplies.

The Carencro Fire Station No. 3 site is no longer operational as community needs have been met.

Residents are reminded that there is a limit of one bottled water case per family. They should bring containers for filling with potable water since a spigot will be provided for easy access. Proof of residency in Lafayette Parish is required to ensure fair distribution.

For further updates on operations at these sites, residents are encouraged to follow the LCG Facebook page.
