The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Captain Clay Higgins, Captain Higgins for Congress, refunded $2,800 to Earl P. King Jr. on October 14, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Captain Higgins for Congress refunded $9,044 total since May 1.
