The Lafayette Transit System will observe Independence Day on Monday, July 4. All bus services — Daytime, Night Owl, and Paratransit will be closed. Service resumes the following day on Tuesday, July 5.Monday’s trash and recycling collection will not be affected. Republic Services will run its regular routes.The Dean Domingues Compost Facility is closed Saturday, July 2, and Monday, July 4.
