Of the 1,695 citizens living in Duson in 2020, 1,217 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 701 of those people were female and 516 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
