Lafayette, LA – The Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) is continuing its efforts to address the extensive debris left by the recent May storms. LCG has deployed 16 contract trucks and two in-house trucks daily for debris collection. As of June 6, crews have collected approximately 9,000 cubic yards of debris, representing 50% of the total. Contractors expect to complete the first round of debris pickup throughout the city and unincorporated areas within the next two weeks.
