Kennedy announces $3.2 million in Hurricane Ida aid for Kenner

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $3,247,814 in a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant for Louisiana disaster aid.

“Louisianians are still recovering from Hurricane Ida’s devastation. This $3.2 million will help cover the costs that the city of Kenner took on for emergency measures during Ida,” said Kennedy.

The FEMA aid will fund $3,247,814 in federal funding to the city of Kenner for emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida.
