There were 9,404 students enrolled in Acadia Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 1.7% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51% of them were boys, and 49% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 64.8% of the Acadia Parish School District total enrollment.

Acadia Parish School District covers approximately 27 schools within Acadia Parish, with its main office in Crowley.

Among the 27 schools in Acadia Parish School District, Mire Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 647 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021-22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
