WASHINGTON – Sens. John Kennedy (R-La.) and Bill Cassidy (R-La.) have introduced a resolution congratulating Louisiana State University (LSU) quarterback Jayden Daniels on his victory in winning the 2023 Heisman Memorial Trophy. The resolution recognizes Daniels' exceptional talent and determination, applauding his contributions as a dual-threat quarterback.

Kennedy expressed his admiration for Daniels, stating, "As all LSU fans have witnessed over and over again, Jayden Daniels earned this Heisman Trophy with talent and grit. Louisianians will celebrate his legacy as a dual-threat quarterback for many years to come. Geaux Tigers!"

Daniels' impressive performance during the 2023 regular season led the LSU Tigers to several notable victories.
