Senator Kennedy Criticizes Biden Administration in Response to State of the Union Address

WASHINGTON – Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) did not mince words in his response to President Joe Biden's recent State of the Union Address. Senator Kennedy described the Biden administration as "breathtakingly awful" and criticized the President's handling of various issues.

"I'm an eternal optimist, but I am also a committed realist, and the fact is that the Biden administration has been breathtakingly awful," stated Senator Kennedy. He went on to list a series of areas where he believes President Biden has mismanaged, including Congress, COVID, the economy, inflation, national debt, the border, crime, Afghanistan, and international conflicts.

Senator Kennedy also expressed skepticism towards President Biden's positive portrayal of his administration in the State of the Union speech. "Tonight, the president voiced some pretty words in his State of the Union speech, and he tried to tell us that the state of the union is good and that he has done a good job, and any fair-minded American knows that that is not true," remarked Senator Kennedy.

In conclusion, Senator Kennedy emphasized his belief that the Biden administration's actions have been guided by a questionable principle. "Any fair-minded American knows that the guiding principle of this administration has been, ‘Let's do the dumbest thing possible that won't work.’ That is the unvarnished truth, and the American people deserve better," he stated.

Senator Kennedy's full remarks can be viewed online for those interested in hearing his complete response.
