Lafayette, LA – The Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) has announced the closure of E. Vermilion Street between Lee Avenue and Taylor Street. The closure is scheduled from August 1 through October 7, 2024, to facilitate drainage infrastructure repairs within the roadway.
Detour routes will be clearly marked and available to ensure minimal disruption. Local access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
The designated detour routes are:
- Lee Avenue
- Garfield Street
- Taylor Street
LCG expressed appreciation for public patience and understanding during this time as they work to enhance infrastructure throughout Lafayette Parish.
