Lafayette, LA – The Lafayette Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Culture (PARC) Department, in collaboration with the Scott Area Team Sports (SATS) and Southwest Athletics (SWA), has announced that registration is now open for the Lafayette PARC Youth Football and Youth Volleyball leagues. Registration will close on August 21, 2024.

The leagues include:

- Tackle Football: Ages 8-12

- Flag Football: Ages 5-17

- Volleyball: Ages 7-17

Football games are scheduled to be played at Clark Field, while volleyball games will take place at the Robicheaux, Domingue, and Dupuis Recreation Centers.

Age groups for the sports are as follows:

- Tackle Football: 8U, 10U, 13U

- Flag Football Coed: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 17U

- Volleyball Coed: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U

- Volleyball Girls Only: 11U, 14U, 17U

Registration is managed by SATS and SWA. Participants can register through the following links:

The registration fees are:

- Tackle Football: $105 (plus $75 equipment deposit)

- Flag Football and Volleyball: $80

These fees cover the cost of uniforms.

Key dates to note:

Registration closes on August 21, 2024.

Tentative season dates are:

Tackle/Flag Football from September 14 to November 23,

Volleyball from September 21 to November16.
