Lafayette, LA – On August 5, the Lafayette Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Culture (PARC) Department announced youth football and volleyball registration. In addition to the Scott Area Team Sports (SATS) and Southwest Athletics (SWA), the Carencro Area Youth Sports Inc. (CAYSI) will also accept registrations for the Lafayette PARC Youth Football and Youth Volleyball leagues.

The leagues are divided as follows:

Football:

- Tackle Football: Ages 8-13

- Flag Football: Ages 5-17

Volleyball:

- Coed: Ages 7-17

Registration is managed by the Carencro Area Youth Sports Inc. (CAYSI). For more information and to register, participants can visit: http://www.carencroyouthsports.com/

Registration fees for all sports are $80, which covers the cost of uniforms. An additional $75 equipment deposit is required for tackle football.
