Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana has been awarded an "A+" rating by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America for his legislative efforts in support of pro-life policies during the 118th Congress. The organization’s national scorecard honors lawmakers who consistently advocate for life through their voting and legislative activities.

Kennedy expressed his gratitude, stating, “Life is God’s greatest gift, and I’m proud to help protect it from extreme, left-wing attacks. I’m grateful for this ‘A+’ rating, and I’ll keep fighting hard for Louisiana’s pro-life values in the Senate.”

Throughout the 118th Congress, Kennedy co-sponsored various bills aimed at protecting infants who survive abortions, preventing government funding of overseas abortions, and stopping the use of aborted fetal tissue in research. As a member of both the Judiciary and Budget Committees, he has also defended pro-life states and brought attention to abortion-related issues.

In 2024, Kennedy participated in amici briefs supporting an Idaho pro-life law challenged by the Biden administration and opposing the FDA's move to distribute abortion pills by mail.
