Mayor-President Boulet announces LEDA board appointments

Lafayette, LA – Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet has announced two new appointments to the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) Board: Michael D. Soileau, LUS Fiber Director, and Vincent Pierre, Municipal and Constituent Services Advisor.

The Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) Board of Commissioners is appointed by governmental and educational entities and collaborates with LEDA staff to foster economic growth and development within Lafayette Parish.

“I believe both of our LCG LEDA appointments bring a wealth of experience in business and in politics,” said Boulet. “Strong economic development is vital to the success of Lafayette Parish as we grow and develop. I have great confidence in the LEDA team as well as our new appointees.”

Michael D. Soileau is a senior business executive with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
