Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) is excited to announce the launch of its new online civil service job application portal. The online job application portal improves the hiring process while saving time for applicants who are no longer limited to applying during office hours.

“We are committed to making the job application process as convenient and user-friendly as possible for our applicants,” said Municipal Civil Service Director Adam Marcantel. “The new online portal will allow us to better track and manage our applications as well as provide a more efficient way for our applicants to apply for jobs.”

Applicants will first create an account and should have on-hand proof of age (at least 18 years and a social security number). Both must be submitted electronically along with the application. Account information is saved, eliminating the need to re-enter information when revisiting the page.

Lafayette Consolidated Government is committed to providing the best possible service to its citizens. The launch of the online job application portal is just one of the many ways the organization is working to improve its operations and better serve the community.
