PARC youth basketball league extends registration deadlines

Registration deadlines for Lafayette PARC's Junior NBA and Junior WNBA Youth Basketball programs have been extended. These programs are open to participants aged 5-16, with the season set to begin on January 4, 2025, and end on March 8, 2025.

Five local associations are responsible for registration: Scott Area Team Sports (SATS), Southwest Athletics (SWA), Cajun Sports Association (CSA), Brown Park Association (BPA), and Carencro Area Youth Sports, Inc. (CAYSI). Registration fees will cover the program's needs.

Scott Area Team Sports (SATS) is accepting registrations until December 7, 2024. The fee is $80 for the first child and $50 for additional children, with a late fee of $15 after December 7. Contact KJ Nelson at 337-412-0287 or visit clubs.bluesombrero.com/scottareateamsports for more information.

Carencro Area Youth Sports, Inc. (CAYSI) has extended its registration deadline to December 9, 2024. Fees are $85 online or $75 walk-up. For inquiries, contact Garrett Lewis at 337-896-5972 or Bertha Hebert at 337-278-1579. More details can be found at carencroyouthsports.com.

The Cajun Sports Association (CSA) has closed its registration due to reaching capacity. Their website is csalaf.com.

Southwest Athletics (SWA) has also extended its deadline to December 9, 2024. The fee is $85. Contact swajudice@gmail.com or visit clubs.bluesombrero.com/swathleticsla for more information.
