Lafayette, LA – The Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department has announced alternating lane closures for upcoming concrete roadway repairs. These closures will affect E. Pont Des Mouton Road between Moss Street and Louisiana Avenue, as well as Louisiana Avenue between Oak Coulee Drive and E. Pont Des Mouton Road.
The repair work is scheduled to start on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, and is expected to continue until Monday, December 23, 2024. To minimize disruption while ensuring safety for both the public and workers, lane closures will alternate in each direction of travel.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when passing through these work zones and should plan for potential delays. It is important to adhere to posted signage and traffic control measures during this period.
