Lafayette, LA – The 1000 block of Lafayette Street is set to be closed on Saturday, January 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This closure is due to Bulliard Construction positioning a crane within the roadway to hoist equipment onto the Lafayette Parish Courthouse building.
Efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience with detour routes provided and local access maintained throughout the closure. Motorists are advised to plan for alternate routes and exercise caution in the area.
The designated detour routes include Vermilion Street, Jefferson Street, and W. Convent Street.
