The northeast bound lane in the 100 block of Academy Road, Lafayette, will be closed from January 22 through February 11, 2025. The closure is due to sewer infrastructure repairs conducted by a contractor for the Lafayette Utilities System (LUS).
Motorists traveling northwest on Camellia Boulevard towards Johnston Street cannot turn right onto Academy Road and should use Eastland Drive and Rena Drive as detours. Similarly, those heading northeast on Mt. Vernon Drive will not have access to Academy Road and should follow the same detour via Camellia Boulevard.
Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution and anticipate possible delays when navigating this area.
