Lafayette, LA – A section of the northwest bound lanes in the 100 block of Doucet Road is set to close from January 22 through February 11, 2025. This closure will facilitate sewer infrastructure repairs, weather permitting.
The repairs will be conducted by a contractor for Lafayette Utilities System (LUS) within the roadway. Drivers traveling northwest on Doucet Road near Johnston Street should expect lane reductions before reaching the work area.
The Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department of LCG advises motorists to exercise caution while navigating through the work zone to ensure their safety and that of the workers involved.
